For the first time, former professional golfer Kendra Little opens up about her gender identity and the impact it has had on her life over the last 20 years.
After learning at age 12 that she was born with androgen insensitivity syndrome, a variation of intersex, Kendra isolated herself emotionally, never discussed it with anybody, and eventually walked away from a promising golf career.
Now able to fully embrace her own identity, Kendra hopes that sharing her story will help change the way we think about gender constructs and bring comfort to anyone who may feel alone or ashamed of how they were born. This is a story about authenticity, self-discovery, and acceptance. This is Kendra Little’s story of #BecomingMore. #MoreThanAnAthlete
