The Position

The Director, Marketing Strategy, UNINTERRUPTED will drive all brand awareness and consumer engagement efforts for the UNINTERRUPTED brand by creating and concepting highly innovative digital content marketing programs and creative solutions, via athlete and sports culture. As a hybrid strategist and digital content marketer, you have a keen understanding of our audiences. You thrive on these insights to develop scalable marketing solutions rooted in The SpringHill Company’s core offerings (talent, product, content and experiences) and draw upon new/emerging media, guerilla tactics and out of the box opportunities to reach our audiences in the spaces and places that matter most. You are a big idea person that thrives on creating opportunities that drive audience scale, and because sport is embedded in your DNA, your solutions are as insightful as they are impactful. Core responsibilites

  • Lead and create impactful 360 go-to-market strategies and activation plans, inclusive of high-level tactics and creative ideas, that define how and where we will connect with our consumers while reinforcing our brand positioning in the marketplace.
  • Push the boundaries of our brand(s) in culture by unlocking white spaces and investigating potential business paths (i.e. media placements, recommendations and partnerships) that can amplify TSHC creative solutions to engage our audience.
  • Leverage the marketing strategies, and your resulting ideas, as the launching off point for creative and cross-functional briefs that you will deliver to the team to enhance your existing plans.
  • Manage the overall creative development process by inspiring and unlocking big ideas that ensure constant connectivity to our brand and audiences.
  • Partner with the content and social teams to align on unique content angles and rollout strategies that bolster conversation and support audience growth.
  • Drive the overall execution of the marketing strategy, digital experiences and consumer brand activations, working closely with cross-functional experts (i.e,. Creative, Production)  to manage deliverables and maximize brand impact.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing and Creative Operations team to develop processes, identify resources, budget, timelines as well as to steer the creative development and execution of integrated GTM solutions with internal and external partners.
  • Support the development of the annual brand marketing calendar and storytelling moments through internal insight and external audience passions that align with and result in continued brand growth opportunities.

Qualifications Necessary

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience within a marketing firm, creative agency or brand side.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success of independently building brand marketing strategies from the ground up.
  • Proven ability to grow and develop an audience.
  • Solid track record in brand management, content, product, grassroots and experiential marketing.
  • Goal-oriented, strategic and creative thinker with a hands-on approach to driving and obtaining results.
  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and keen ability to influence and “sell” strategies to any audience.
  • Effectively excels and performs well under stress and meets deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Keynote/PowerPoint with the ability to creatively tell a story in a compelling way.
  • Strong understanding and consumption of emerging digital media channels.
  • Passion for all things sports culture.
