The Position

The SpringHill Company is looking for a detail-oriented T&E Analyst to join our Finance Team. The T&E Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration of TSHC’s credit card and Travel & Expense (“T&E”) programs. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication, organization and multi-tasking skills. Adaptability to communicate with all levels within the business and attention to detail is critical for this role.

Core responsibilites

  • Review expense submissions for accuracy, overall reasonableness and consistency with company policy
  • Correspond with all levels of employees, including leadership, to answer inquiries, clarify reimbursable expenses, and resolve system issues
  • Monitor employee travel requests for pending approvals and non-compliant travel
  • Manage the Corporate credit card platform (Ramp), including: adding users, issuance and cancellation of cards, limit changes, approvals and policy interpretation
  • Assist with coding of expenses from Ramp to ensure accurate upload into Netsuite in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Communicate with TSHC’s travel agent to resolve issues, as necessary
  • Perform reconciliations for travel expenses and credit card liabilities.
  • Support preparation of informative materials and provide T&E training to current and new employees
  • Support the Finance team in designing and providing regular reporting/metrics on T&E internally within Finance and for other departments
  • Provide knowledge of TSHC’s policies and procedures, supporting cardholders and general employees on T&E related items
  • Analyze processes to identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen best practices and controls.
  • Relationship Management skills: must have the capacity to build effective relationships at all levels and proactively communicate with other employees, utilizing tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality, as appropriate
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications Necessary

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience in a finance related customer service role
  • Entertainment industry experience is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of GAAP required
  • Experience with NetSuite and Ramp preferred
  • Strong proficiency Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with superior attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication ability
  • Proven ability to approach problem-solving with resourcefulness and to research solutions
  • Must be flexible and willing to take on any additional tasks as needed
  • Must have a positive attitude, be willing to learn new things and train others as needed
