We are developing original consumer products and we partner with large brands on their consumer strategies.

The Position

The SpringHill Company is seeking a Director of Talent to join our People & Culture team. This role will be responsible for recruitment and selection for roles of all levels and will act as an advisor to leadership on talent acquisition best practices and execution against talent acquisition elements. Success in this role requires excellent organization and communication, relationship building, problem solving, and strong communication skills with peers and leadership. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and support immediate hiring needs as we continue to scale. Candidates will need to understand the entertainment space and must have experience sourcing talent within the Creative and Entertainment spaces. Core responsibilites

  • Create a recruitment function from the ground up: including implementing an ATS, and building processes for a best-in-class candidate experience, reflective of our empowering and inclusive culture
  • Recruit for key positions in the company
  • Build and develop internal and external talent pipelines for current and future job openings
  • Manage our external partnerships with colleges, job boards and recruiting vendors
  • Participate in and host recruitment events offline and online to drive awareness of our company
  • Prepare and execute against our annual recruitment budget
  • Build dashboards to measure key recruitment metrics
  • Manage, train and evaluate a recruitment team as necessary
  • Build and develop internal development programs
  • Create and execute a Learning and Development strategy with internal partners and external vendors
  • Oversee the performance management process
  • Build out and oversee the Talent Review process

Qualifications Necessary

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • 10+ years of broad HR experience including recruitment, DEI initiatives, talent development and performance management
  • Proven work experience building out a Talent Acquisition function
  • Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions in media/entertainment
  • Experience in managing full-cycle recruiting and sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs
  • Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. social networks)
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
  • Good team-management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates)
  • Experience designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management
  • Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing various employment reports
