IT Desktop Support Manager

Purpose of Position

The IT – Desktop Support Manager will be responsible for the day to day technical support function of the Uninterrupted team. This role will in-still and manage a customer obsessed focus in support of our company and clients.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for wide varying technology solutions
  • Will be responsible for managing the IT Help Desk function and the main contact point for all technology issues
  • Manage the inventory of office hardware - laptops, mobiles, printers, TV's, Conferencing equipment, phones.
  • Manage inventory of software asset inventory - Adobe suite, etc.
  • Building security system - badges, cameras, hours access etc.
  • Equipment preparation for on-boarding new hires
  • Hardware maintenance/repair/recycling
  • WIFI troubleshooting and security
  • Creating/deleting users, user password security. G-Suite master admin keys
  • Purchasing new equipment and preloading company-standard software
  • Implement best practices and improve efficiency of systems/delivery related to IT support functions
  • Compile weekly, quarterly, and annual reports and metrics. Provide data and reporting of KPI’s and trends to senior management
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with IT support, logistics and supply vendors
  • Provide evening/weekend after-hours technical support to other geographical locations as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or // related field or // 5+ years of relevant experience supporting a media/entertainment company
  • G-Suite expert, ability to troubleshoot Google Apps Enterprise issues
  • Foundational understanding of Systems Administration through traditional academia or through work experience
  • Experience with Distributed Computing ad PCI and security
  • Experience with Customer Service, Management, Leadership, and Staffing
  • Experience setting up video conferencing systems (Hangouts/Zoom)
  • Good understanding of network fundamentals
  • Excellent written, verbal skills and interpersonal communication
  • Must possess solid critical and analytical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well within deadlines, under pressure and in a time sensitive environment
  • Familiarity with Okta SSO
  • Familiarity with Aruba
